    As it says here:

    http://www.morphos.de/index.html

I presume it refers to a release date.

    Now let's see... 2 x 3 = 6?

6 Days left? 6th of the Month? 6month of the Year?

    The mind BOGGLES!

Isn't multiplication the superior operation? ;-)

    - Jan 3rd?
    - three more weeks/months/years?
    - release in March?
    - not before December?

Mmmm should I tell with which one ? 8-)

All it says is that 3.0 will be released this year *doh*

I'm not sure if the team could hint a specific date even if they wanted to.....

Those people who tend to work themselves up to much over 3.0 should really try to remember the wait for 1.5-1.666-2.0 ....

Well to be honest, they can take all the time of the world. I don't need it tomorrow, so they can use all the time needed before they release it...... with the slow network bug fixed (on Mac Mini).

    > the last time we had number riddle it refered to the pricing :)

In case you refer to the '11111' riddle from April 2008: No, it was not a reference to the pricing but indeed to the release date. 11,111 days following January 1st 1978 meant June 3rd 2008 as anticipated release date of MorphOS 2.0 (which was then overrun by 27 days, so the riddle didn't work out as supposed). The pricing of 111.11 EUR wasn't decided upon until few hours before the actual release.

Well, it sort of does, as the picture and numbers appear to mean that the year 2012 will be the year of MorphOS3.0, so we can be pretty sure that it will be released some time this year. 8-)

    > Well, it sort of does

To my understanding, in the posting I replied to the pronoun "it" refers to the result of the mathematical expression (as is obvious from the rest of said posting), which is 3. I still think that "3" does not refer to a release date here, not even "sort of". And that "2012" refers to the year 2012 is a no-brainer, really.

    > the picture and numbers appear to mean that the year 2012
    > will be the year of MorphOS3.0

Yes, that's exactly what I think it says, so that "3" is referring to MorphOS 3(.0) alone, not to any release date (contrary to what some here in this thread seem to suspect).

If 2012 is supposed to be the year of MorphOS 3, I guess it's nothing less but appropriate this year will have one day more to enjoy. Only 364 days to wait! ;-)

    Ok,

Since everyone is guessing then I guess that it is 3-3-2012.
    The year of the 3.

By the way, do you see the '2012' in 2x0+1+2?

Unlikely as it probably is a remnant from that event and the webmaster just forgot to remove it when the anniversary was over. More evidence for my theory is that according to Google cache this message has already been on the page last year.
