A newspaper article reminded me that Friday is 11/11/11. Considering its past numerological association with the number, and the fact that the chance won't present itself again for an hundred years, I wonder if there was anything planned?

I hope the release of MorphOS3.0 will be this year, but I also hope that if the release date slips into the first quarter of 2012 that there will not be too much moaning or complaining from everyone here.

It is a major step forward and a lot of work is involved, so unforeseen problems in any of the areas that are being upgraded, or in the drivers for any of the PowerBook components could delay the release. I have not heard anything that would indicate to me that they are not on schedule for a December release of 3.0, but know that there is still work being done to finish it and bring it up to the high release standards that the MorphOS Dev. Team has shown us in the past.

I can't wait for it to be done and released as my G4 PowerBook is what I use 95% of the time right now (given my back condition). I want to run MorphOS3.0 instead of MacOSX10.5.8.

Seems this date has not even seen MorphOS 3.2 (and neither has today) ;-) But apparently, 2013 will see both MorphOS 3.2 *and* 3.3 :-)
