in short:

1) How far is WIFI support for MOS. I have read somewhere that Neil(AROS wifi bounty) is helping you.
I am interested in a Powermac so a PCI solution would be my favorite.

2) Is it possible to use a TV tuner card with MOS?

3) How can i print? Are there any printer drivers besides Ghostscript? (GS is fine, i am just curios if there is more support)

How much faster(if at all) does a 1GHZ Quicksilver run compared to a Peg II ?

2. Analogic tv cards are supported. No idea where just thing is still used.

3. Only printers listed here are supported. TurboPrint is integrated to MorphOS but it is quite old.

Often forgotten but you can also use any application supporting Postscript (there are quite a few) to print to any Postscript printer not mentioned in this list. Mostly lasers but not only...

Printer support could be better. I did try it with my Ricoh Gelprinter but no luck so far.

Powermac 1 Ghz has faster memory access and is faster as a Peg2 .. but I don't think it's that a big difference.

For the Wifi support, best to ask Neil I think.

To have a bigger performance difference buy a PowerMac MDD, if possible 1,25Ghz or better.

So I am not sure such device is usable outside the Windows world. Maybe if it got some PCL compatibility...

Ghostscript does not handle at all the proprietary RPCS language used by this printer.

Almost all Ricoh printers, including gel GX 3000, 5000 and 7000 families, have built-in PCL 5e and PCL 6 emulation. This is factory mounted, not an option (most of Ricoh devices have PostScript as option). Then they may be tried with PCL/LaserJet drivers.

Only some low-budget devices, which are either rebranded Samsungs, or have Samsung printer controllers, are Windows GDI devices, and have PCL as (problematic) option. Those include models like multifunctions MP2000L/LN (not SP/SPF), MP161L/LN (not SP/SPF) and some small A4 multifunction color devices for example SPC221/231 models.

It's a Ricoh GX e2600. I would already be happy if it prints black and white text so I can print some Amigaguides from software I want to install on my Amiga(compatibles) with having to travel from the one I am working on and the one with the manuaml onscreen. So if anyone can take a look at the manual/specs of my printer and can point me in the right direction I am a very happy man who has again one reason less to fire up the old WindowsXP box.

In this case you are out of luck. This is a low-end model with many features removed. No PCL.

i have an Postscript printer here because of AROS. So PS/GS is ok for me. Also i have an Lexmark which acts as HP Deskjet 500C... but it has only a parallel connection.

The only reason to by a Peg 2 is because of the fact that i can run MOS, AOS and AEROS on one box.
I have now some auctions on the watch list.

No, it is a "winprinter" aka GDI. Looks like another rebranded Samsung (ML-16xx series). If you want MorphOS compatible printer (having PCL or PostScript) you have to skip the "lowest prices" zone...

The Dell I bought years ago for peanuts with two new toners because my wife had to print a lot for school. A month ago I bought the ricoh thinking it wasn't a bad deal... actually it wasn't when your windows only user. So I gues sI have to follow your advice sooner or later....

The Powermac also has a true AGP 4x slot which might make some video card operations faster.

Since i would like to focus on new Software creation for AOS and MOS in the next year....
I assume that the PEG2 can dualboot AOS4 and MOS? Or can i have only one of them?

Quicksilver have 1x UDMA66 and 1x UDMA33 IDE ports - Pegasos2 have 2x UDMA100 IDE ports.
I tested same HD on these machines and it's really slowly on quicksilver.
