I hear if you can show proof that the mini is dead and is no longer functional you can get a replacement key for a new machine. Maybe a video of it failing to power on or one of you smashing it sent to the team with do it?

Go to the official MorphOS Developers website and contact them directly about getting a new keyfile replacement for your new G4 PowerMac. They will tell you how you can confirm with them that you can no longer use the keyfile you have for your G4 MacMini.

How did it break? Did it just stop booting one day? Have you tried to find out what is wrong with it, or fix it your self?

Not sure how they can really tell the hardware is death without actually testing it...

Anyway I had a faulty quiksilver that was registered and I had no problems getting a new keyfile for a replacement machine without the need for violence.

Why do you think it's irony? You can buy refurbished PowerPC Macs with warranty.

One can get suspicious after being exposed to trolls for the last 10 years or so, I suppose. So if that sentence is ment as you tell me, I have to apologize ;-)

That said .. how long will that warranty be ? 60 days ? And what is refurbishing on a mac ? Cleaning the dust out and -maybe- a new optical drive and harddrive ? Anyone can do that with a little effort.
