I know this is probably not a priority to many people, but I was just wondering if pull down windows are on the list of features being worked on for MorphOS.

    Screen Dragging?

I'd like to see screen dragging on MorphOS, I'm aware of Dragon, but it seemed to get a bit broken after a MorphOS update.

Kronos: You know what I mean!

Or... have you never used a real Amiga? If that's the case, we had this really cool feature where you could click on the top of the screen and pull it down, revealing the screen behind it! It was awesome! ;)

MorphOS would feel just a little more Amiga like with it, not that I'm complaining, I love MorphOS, but having this feature WOULD JUST RULE!!!!!

I don't find it fair to allege that someone who doesn't know that by "windows" you actually mean screens has never used a real Amiga ;-)

Oh wait, here's a better one.

Can someone please port Window Blinds to MorphOS so I can make my Desktop look more like Windows?

...Well. Dragon is a good tool but limited.
Question: on this video Dragon on MorphOS
this tool seems to do much more that it actually does: the screen dragging is controlled and it is possible to stop frontmost screen
everywhere and use programs in the background screen. Then, it is possible to drag front screen and switch the background screen
    to front and use it.
    :-?
What version is this? Unreleased one....?!? Or...??!!?

And what use would such feature be apart from the wow factor? With today's displays even multiple screens make little sense imho.

But who knows, maybe I'll get really bored one day? :)

It is Dragon 2 which was never released. It was not feature complete and Gelb didnt want to release unfinished project and then unfortunately he lost interest in it.

I find it handy, just for a quick peek at my YAM windows and such like, but I think we've had this conversation before haven't we?

I think I used screen-dragging once (ok, maybe twice) when I'd first gotten my A500 .. and then I learned how to use the LMeta-M/N combo...

As much as I like MorphOS' Mac like Settings menu, I still went with the option to create my own Icons for the Prefs folder instead. Likewise, I also run my system with old school icons as opposed to the modern PNG icons. The goal in essence is to transfer the experience I have using my 600 and 1200 to my MorphOS machine.

So in short, freedom of customization would be the main reason I'd like to see this feature implemented.

Indiividual prefs icons is possible since the very first MorphOS 1.0 release.

    One example:

    1) create the icon
    copy ENVARC:sys/def_tool.info SYS:Prefs/Audio.info

    2) edit the icon (right mouse click -> Information...)

    3) change the icon to be of type "Project"

    4) put "morphos/Prefs/Preferences" into the "project by default" field

    5) Save

And repeat for all other mprefs (see mossys:prefs/mprefs/)
