And be it only to counter that graph somewhat.

I believe the grath that Moo Bunny pasted on Morph Update had a Trojian attached .. I have a dual boot that will not switched to MacX...The apple logo sceen appears and then has a restart icon with instructions to restart in many languages Heading to ebay for some USB sticks to back up the Morph side... :-?

BE ADVISED THAT THERE MIGHT BE TROJIAN MAYBE SOMEONE COULD CHECK IT OUT?
THE GRATH APPEARS AND THEN A BACKROUND SCRIPT KICKS IN ADVERTISING A MAC SECURITY PROGRAM?

Not doing anything for me on MAC OSX 10.5.8 , you don't allow pop up or something do you? If so, why?

Also a graph without saying what the axis are is useless. Init.

Unless they're trying to say that the number of Key registrations has somehow decreased. Which isn't actually possible. Oh well.

Also I don't think this is a Virus/Malwear that do that sort of thing to a Mac.

    Even the new exciting one:
    http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2011/05/fake-mac-defender-antivirus-app-scams-users-for-money-cc-numbers.ars

Dosn't do that, and would require a password to do anything at all.

I was using OwB browser ...a new tab kicked in as the graph was loading. thats where it I saw the MAC ad for against malware. i tried again and got directed to a rip abs ad.
Where the graph was stored (a picture service) takes over OWB....trouble :-?

That's a fishing site, as they existed for windows for years.

You spoofed OWB to pretend to be a Mac safari. Just change the browser to windows firefox or something like that und you probably get the same page looking like a windows GUI.

On mac they want to force the user to install the malware, which needs to enter the system password. after installing the shit, they want money to restore your system.

On MorphOS and on MacOS simply ignore such pages and it's fine. it's a simple JavaScript taking over. Disabling JS should prevent from being led to another page and to see the original contents.

I have not gone through any of it as yet....want to back all on the Morph side.. The dual boot opens on the Morph side which is fine...My system balked at he upgrade versions of "2" :-?

How to disable javascript on the mac side? Is there a way to restore the dual reboot without a complete re-install.
Not doing a thing until all data is backed up :-D
