Anyone that can guide me howto make a dualboot system with Yellow Dog Linux and MorphOS 2.4 on the mac mini?
Would love to have linux instead of OSX tiger on it.

This should essentially be almost the same as with OSX installation - the order of steps to take, etc. The only tricky bit is that the MorphOS' HD utility changes the partition order, so you have to tweak the /etc/fstab (afair that's what it was called ;) to reflect the changes done by it.

Good point the weird thing is that with Fstab the parition order is like 1 number off or something...

Is there anything different about the installation process for Dual booting if I want to add Linux as a third system to boot if I am adding it to an existing dual boot MorphOS2.4 & MacOSX Tiger installation?

Now that I have an external 250gb hard drive and the original 80gb internal hard drive, I should have enough drive space to host all three OSes.

I would think the ideal setup would be to have partitions for each of the boot OSes on the internal 80gb hard drive and use the 250gb external USB drive to hold my data files for all three OSes to access. Is that possible and if yes, which format can I use for the data drive/partition(s) so all three OSes can read and write to them?

If that is not possible, I would have to duplicate my data on multiple partitions to have access from each boot OS and every time I altered one of the files I would have to somehow copy it to the other OSes data partitions if I also wanted to access that altered file from the other OSes. Does any of this make sense to anyone?

At the moment the only FS you can read & write on all three OSes is Fat :(

As for installing all OSes, I'd start from installing OSX, then Linux, then MorphOS. All the basic partitioning can be done from Linux (similar to what I described in the dualboot guide).

I have YDL and MorphOS installed in the same HD. It's not difficult to install, just remember to modify Yaboot config so it boots from MorphOS as default.

BTW, YDL performance is disappointing.

How do you update yaboot in linux anyhow, I made some config changes but forgot how to update it. Something involving ybin?

You forgot about HFS or i don't know about something :).

not all Linux distros can read HFS by default, I'm sure he meant by stock, plus even FAT32 is better than HFS: 2GB Filesize vs. 4GB Filesize
