I want to continue development on the OOP4A libraries on the Amiga Classics but the GeoCities.com-based webpage no longer exists since Yahoo shut down that branch of their system. The author's email address (as stated on the Aminet listing of the related PreAss program) is expired also.

I was told that the author of PowerD hangs out on MorphZone hence my posting here. Since the authors of the two projects were cooperating I thought maybe there would be the possibility of finding the other author.

Can anyone help out with this search?

You can find the website of the PowerD author in MorphZone's newly updated Links section. Just use the search feature of your browser.

The author of OOP4A is Marius 'Cyborg' Schwarz (don't confuse him with OS4 developer Costel 'Cyborg' Mincea). Why don't you take his email address from Aminet's OOP4A readme? Or from Aminet's BenderIRC readme?

    Then there're still these:

    http://www.checkdomain.com/cgi-bin/checkdomain.pl?domain=benderirc.de
    http://www.checkdomain.com/cgi-bin/checkdomain.pl?domain=newgui.de

Thanks for the leads. The reason I came looking here is that nobody at AmigaWorld.net knew where to look. You've been very helpful!

As for the BenderIRC website, the OOP4A section is still up but the main page was down so I couldn't find a contact address on there at all. (I downloaded OOP4A from the BenderIRC webpage rather than the Aminet.)

I didn't know that NewGUI was being developed by the same person. Also, I didn't know whether BenderIRC was a program or an IRC hosting service. (I can't speak German.)

    It's there:

    http://www.benderirc.de/hp/ (bilingual)

    > so I couldn't find a contact address on there at all.

    There's none ;-)

    > I downloaded OOP4A from the BenderIRC webpage rather than the Aminet.

It's not about where to download from but where to look for email addresses ;-)

    > I didn't know that NewGUI was being developed by the same person.

He did even more popular things before:

    http://directdos.benderirc.de (German website)

I've sent my email so we'll see what he says. I was already planning on replacing OOP4A with an improved version built independently from the existing source but I'm not sure how compatible it would be with the original.

And thanks again for your help.

Take a look at this site: link
There's PowerD's homepage and you can find there PowerD author's (Martin Kuchinka) e-mail address.
Mac mini G4@1,5GHz silent upgrade + Xerox Phaser 3140 + EPSON Perfection 1240U
    Commodore C64C + 2 x 1541II + Datasette + SD-Box

I miss draggable screens... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

That's just two (obvious) links away from MarK's MZ profile I linked to. And Samurai_Crow can very well use MZ's PM feature to get in contact with MarK.
