This is probably my fault and a user mistake.

I've installed UAEload and it works fine accept from a problem I'm having. In the install instructions it says to put the uaeload.conf file in ENV. so I've put it in RAM:env! but I made a mistake in the file, so I corrected the mistake and put the new conf file into ram:ENV and on every reboot the file goes back to the first conf file (that I made the mistake in) so everytime I want to use UAEload I need to replace the config file.

Can anyone give me some help on this matter.

I am not an expert in UAE, but it sounds like you need to replaced the file in ENVARC:. The drive ENV: (ram:env) gets cleared on each reboot and restored from ENVARC: (sys:prefs/env-archive).

Thats why changing in ENV: has no effect.
