while doing some searching using MorphOS as the search word in Google, I came across a site called MorphOSppc.com and started looking around. I couldn't find much about MorphOS there before I stumbled onto the QNX part of the site (as I have been interested in QNX in the past), so I clicked on the link and was very surprised with what I found under a heading of "KVM Extender"

It is apparent that someone has hacked the site and replaced the picture there with one from their home library.

Genesi, you might want to fix this hacked picture very soon. And, no, it was not me that hacked the site. I don't have the skills to accomplish such a task.

Looks like one of those "domain parking" sites with ads...

The domain is now owned by "ARKACIA REKLAMBYR? AB" (Arkacia advertising agency):

EDIT: IMHO it's one thing to pick up abandoned domains and turn them into advertising sites, but here they are also using copyrighted artwork and a page footer that can't be considered OK...?

An email has been sent to Jonas Lindqvist. Genesi gave up that domain some time ago. Nevertheless, if Andre's image is not removed we will contact Alan Schoenbaum, General Counsel, Rackspace, where the site is hosted. We know him.

Heh. Hilarious, because of what it is.

If you look at the bottom of the page, you'll see that it generates content via http://mitcho.com/code/yarpp/ - i.e. all the site is doing is sitting on the domain name, running wordpress, and using a collection script to add more pages.

So there isn't anyone behind it, it's just a lame marketing website. (There are other websites set up that advertise how to set one of these, or a hundred of them, up, for your own marketing needs. Yay for progress.)

And someone got fed up with them yanking stuff from their blog and set a trap, using a pr0n picture.

However, since this post went up, I wouldn't be surprized if they start trying to aggregate content from here soon ):

I reckon that's a case of using images off someone else's server and the other person getting fed up with it. Funny though.

No offense taken mate . It's just that i thought that it could be a known person on the Amiga scene. But it is what's pointed out by a poster here that it's only a spam/marketing type of hack.
Is that page still updated by the original owner?
