I have a question; in MorphOS preferences there is "Users", to create Users and Groups.

I don understand the useful of this item ... becouse I think there are not any SMB and/or FTP and/or webdav SERVER services in the MorphOS 2.4 (or not ??)

so how to use these users/groups ?

Many applications access the user and group information through the bsdsocket.library API; for example third party ftp servers.

Even though the OS itself lacks SMB/FTP/webdav server, I still think it is smart to be able to modify these files easily thru the mprefs system.

Also we might (emphasis on might here) later on provide such services integrated in the OS.

I'd like to have an integrated SMB, FTP, Webdav, Apache ... server services integrated in MorphOS prefs (es. as in OSX).
