    Newbee to Mac.

Go to download site and download MorphOS via Safari.
As the download is completed a requestor asks if I wish to open the Iso with the warning that it may affect the OS of my wife's Apple. I refuse to open it. what now?
I want to burn it on a cd
    How do I do it?
Put blank CD in the "burner"
    Should I name it?

    Osco trembling.
Seems like I,m on an old adventure came...N<W<S<E<up down

Hint: burn the ISO as the CD?s image, not as a file on the CD ; What does this mean? A CD's image? The CD inserted was a blank CD with no other files?

To burn an ISO file on OS X you need to use either Disk Utility or Toast Titanium. With Disk Utility, insert a blank CD, select the CD burner in the drives list, find the Restore function in Disk Utility. Drop the .iso file into Source and the CD-R/DVD-R into Destination. Restore the iso and you should be able to boot from it. With Toast this should be even more trivial.

    Hi,

SimplyBurns is a simple and tiny burning app for OS X. It burns ISOs (Wii-ISOs as well) and is free.

DiskUtility is also free, it's part of the system.

    @jacadcaps

Not sure but I guess one has to mount the iso also, prior to dragging it for burning on a CD. ?
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
    Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

At the end of the download operation a prompt request if I wish to "mount the download"?
Why? It says it may affect the wifes Mac? 8-)
