I have an unusual problem with my attempt to pay for my MacMini 2.4 registration fee through Paypal using the link sent to me via email.
Since I just changed banks and my bank account is not yet verified by Paypal (and won't be until the bank is open on Monday) I cannot use the new bank account to pay for my registration of 2.4 on the MacMini. I no longer have the old bank account, so I can't pay with that either. I then tried to use the pay by credit card method, but since both of my credit cards are also tied to my Paypal account, the Paypal system will not let me pay by credit card as it sees that I have a Paypal account and insists that I pay through Paypal instead of directly with my credit card.
I am caught in a loop as the Paypal site will not show me any of my account pages except the new bank account verification page when I use the link sent from the MOS team to complete the registration process. The paypal account that the MOS team uses to accept the money for registrations is hidden, so I can't just go to the "Send Money" tab and send the amount to the MOS Dev Team that way to complete my payment for registration.
Can anyone that has successfully paid for their 2.4 registration please look at their paypal account and tell me exactly what the name is on the account at Paypal so I can send the team my money and hopefully get my keyfile before the AmiWest 2009 show is over? I would really like to get the keyfile by tomorrow morning, so I don't have to apologize to everyone that is looking at or playing with my MacMini running the demo version of MOS2.4, because I have to reboot right in the middle of what they were doing at the time it times out.
Other than that, the AmiWest 2009 Show is going great. Good news on all sides and everyone seems excited and is having fun. AmigaKit seems to be selling lots of items as I think they have already sold out of the new Indivision ECS's that they brought to the show and I also saw at least 4 or 5 brand new A1200's that were purchased (one by a friend that drove up to the show with me.
All of you should make plans to attend AmiWest 2010 next year. It is a great event and a lot of fun for all.
