I am going to attend AmiWest 2009 in a few weeks and have been asked by the organizers to provide a seminar for MorphOS, or at least a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
I still consider myself a newbie here and to the use of MorphOS, though I consider it the BEST Amiga OS on the planet.
I would like to have someone else who is more knowledgeable than myself show up at AmiWest 2009 and perform the Seminar/Presentation w/Q&A session, but if no one else from here is going to attend, then please will a group of you help me prepare a presentation and a FAQ that covers recent developments and available software for MorphOS2.3 so I will not look like a complete idiot at the show and cast a bad shadow on MorphOS for those at the show that are unfamiliar with it.
I really would like to get some help from here on this project and I think it is a good opportunity for us MorphOS users to get the word out to many Amiga users that don't know what MorphOS is like and what it's advantages are compared to AmigaOS4.x and AROS.
If any of you would be willing to help me prepare for this show and/or help me prepare a presentation that could be run hopefully from my Efika, or alternately from my MacBook (but that would not be a good promotion of MorphOS, as it would show that the Efika is not capable of running a decent presentation), please contact me via email at " amigadave@earthlink.net ".
Thanks in advance for any help,
Edit: If anyone with a Pegasos2 could attend AmiWest 2009 and show how MorphOS runs better than AmigaOS4.x on their Pegasos2 computer, that would be great! I am still hopeful that the MorphOS Team will somehow finish MorphOS for MacMini in time for me to purchase it and show it at AmiWest 2009, but I can't count on it, but I will take my G4 PPC MacMini to AmiWest just in case it is available for download on that weekend.
