Actually there was an initiative started just a few days ago on some other forum to group all Amiga users (classic, minimig etc).

    http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=29234&forum=2&start=0&viewmode=flat&order=0

    http://map.minimig.net/

After a week, total count reached 278. I saw many Pegasos and Efikas out there. So one can always go dual, especially if one is dual already.

BTW MOZone doesn't work under MSIE8, even in compatibility mode: I cannot log in.

Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
    Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

    @Papiosaur

The site you've quoted, how can I switch to the language?

    hello DiskDosctor,

you have a box "traduction" on the left.

Place the mouse on "Traduire", many flags appears ;-)

    And select your language ;-)

attention, the traduction is not very good (google traduction).

"morphos" filter added on the Amiga Map...

    http://map.minimig.net/?filter=morphos

Like most of the other filters, the result depends on what has been written as system description. If "mos" or "morphos" (or actually "morph") is mentioned among any of the entered systems, the pin will be shown on the map.

Peo : how to edit our data in your map ?

For MorphOS user, you can add "Efika" filter and perhaps "Pegasos".

I'm working on the editing functions (self-made as everything else).

Currently, you are able to modify the information about your systems (remove, undo remove, add), soon/later it will be possible to change the rest of the visible information (as well as the location of the map point).

To modify your systems you have to give yourself a password (a set/reset mail is sent to the e-mail address you used for signing up).

oops.. too fast, forgot to answer about the filter..

Does Efika and Pegasos only run MorphOS ?

"Does Efika and Pegasos only run MorphOS ?"

no, they both can run various linuxes, osx via mol and pegasos II can run os4.1 too. not sure about current aros support.

anyway check out http://www.genesi-usa.com/support/software for more info.

    ok..

I have now added filters to display owners of Efika and Pegasos hardware, these are not necessary connected to the MorphOS filter, so to make the filtered map more correct, state what operating system the NG machines are running.

btw.. throwing in an extra filter just takes a minute or less, so if you want to be able to filter out more, just let me know (I'm following this thread and a few others at amiga.org and EAB)

I don't know if I understand your message above, but my guess is that you are asking for other MorphOS users to send you a PMail with State, City and configuration of MorphOS computer, so you can add us to the MorphOS users on the map.

If I am correct, please add me as one of the users with an Efika and PowerUP Phase5 CSPPC capable Amiga, but I have not been successful in getting MorphOS to run on my CSPPC yet. My Country is USA, State is California, and City is Big Bear City, which has a ZIP code of 92314, if that helps.

If I am wrong................................. Please just disregard this message.

Hey Papi, you're almost alone in this thread! It's a pity, because I find it mildly interesting.

It would be more "interesting" if some system component of MorphOS sent its IP address to a central repository. Perhaps some other popular operating systems do so.

I believe the MorphOS Team knows where was sold each licensed copy.
