Why don't you come with me to AmiWest this year? It is not like the old huge Amiga shows, but it is really not as bad as you make it out to be. It did have two sponsors last year which allowed everyone else to attend the show free, except for the dinner. I don't remember the exact attendance number, but I would guess that it was about 2-1/2 times your estimate and I am trying to boost attendance this year to twice that number.

There were actually several people there that wanted to see MorphOS running on my Efika and I did not get one negative remark from any of them (at least not to my face, who knows what people say behind my back). It was a very friendly event and it looked like everyone there was having fun and learning a few things, or meeting new people.

I could certainly use a more experienced MorphOS user there to answer questions that I cannot due to my inexperience and newbie status.
