I haven't booted my EFIKA in a few days as I have had family visiting, but will be doing so in a few minutes so I can install my full version of Cubic IDE which just arrived by mail today.

As for snow, we had about 3-1/2 feet fall last week, all at once, which is rare around here. In fact, I think it has been over 30 years since it has snowed that much in (about) a 24hr period. Now, we are expecting another 3 to 5 inches of rain in the foothills, so with one inch of rain usually translating to one foot of snow, we could be expecting another 2 to 4 feet of snow if the storm stays cold enough.

That might not seem like much to many of you, but I live in Southern California where it is usually sunny and warm most of the year (although I do live at almost 7,000ft elevation).

I will surely have a "White Christmas", and I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Well, I lucked out and we only got another 2 - 4 inches of new snow out of the last storm, instead of the possible 2 - 4 feet of new snow.

Thanks for the well wishes, hope all of you got what you wanted from Santa.

I will try again to get MorphOS2.2 installed on my EFIKA before I start playing with Cubic IDE. I am going to try to install from a hard drive partition instead of the USB stick this time.

yea that's the best way dl 2.2.img along with 2.2.iso, and place them in the main drive, or a partition, then @o.f. esc and boot hd:X 2.2.img (if needed for gfx card comp on hdtv add bootmenu at the end and select resolution) it gives the update opt or clean if you prefer but back up what you need on that opt. oh keep 2.1 handy if you want to go back. I had all kinds of mouse/key drops. fab said to boot 2d when you get it going if it's an issue for you as well. hope it goes well oh yea, protect your key! I'm sure you have!

can't do too much with sputnik right now let it snoooow
wonder why a 400mhz PPC sys with 128 meg radeon gfx card cant handle a little snow? :-?
