I like to look at my old Amiga pictures once in a while... http://zhulien.kicks-ass.net/pics/a1200/
even though I don't have it any more, it brings back good memories, although my Pegasos 2 is more practical - I suspect it'll have a different (but still positive) set of memories once I eventually move on... (which isn't any time soon hopefully)
I remember when I was studying in around 1991 or so, with my classmates would go into the computer shops and look at the awesome jawdropping graphics/sound/music of the A500 on display, then we'd go over the the ibm PCs sitting there with Lotus 123 in text mode - then all my fellow classmates would talk about how cool the ibm PC was. I was the only one thinking wtf? no way in hell would I want that thing, my 8bit Amstrad CPC does better gfx and has a sound chip in it, better games, CP/M to run dbase 2 (we were studying dbase 3 at school). Anyway, I went through school using my CPC for study, programming and games, then my Amiga for games games games - in the early days at least. I still cannot get myself to 'like' using Windoze even after all these years, although it is getting better. The funny thing is, MorphOS 1.4 (not many versions) is already better than Windoze - although lack of a modern web browser is killing me... hense why I suggested perhaps they can make an L Box within MorphOS so we can run Linux stuff in parallel to MorphOS - then we could run crappy Linux stuff while waiting for awesome MorphOS stuff...
