    Yes, I've a 20gb Ipod Mini and it's recongized correctly as
    masstorage.device in MOS so I can use it as external HD.
    But to handle the playlists I'm forced to use GTKPOD under Linux
    because using ITunes under MOL doesn't work 'cause the USB 1.0
    controller in the Peg.

    Yup if you format it to a Windows version and pug it in it works fine as a haed drive, I also used GTKPOD in Ubuntu linux. Cool think about connecting it to my linux on the Peg too is it will read all the songs on the iPod in hard drive mode and you can see the files. While on a Mac and PC they are hidden away.

    @Deez:
    No,amishuffle doesn't work here with my Peg. The playlist database format of my Ipod Mini is <> from the db format of the Shuffle...
    Lukily GTKPOD under Linux and my Peg with USB1.0 is faster and easier to use than ITunes in a gigaPentium with USB2.0!

    I am happy my iRiver HP-120 is just usable under MOS as msd.

    If I'd buy a player now I'd go for an iAudio X-5:
    -very good sound
    -stylish
    -easy navigation
    -usb on the go
    -acts as msd.
    - fm tuner build in
