Oh how I hate grass.

Lawn mowers are aggrivating, and of coarse so is the act of maintaining.

Push mowers are the worst, as they break and make one curse.

Should you have the enough financial backing, wouldn't it be nice to consider paving?

Grass is evil and insane, seems like the green devil is my bane.

...... Translation: My lawnmower's engine blew, so I'm hot, tired, cranky, and now looking at a half cut lawn...GRRRRRR!!!!

/me jumps in and start to sing:
"Let it grow let it grow let it grow..." :D

Btw on german TV they tested a full automatic lawnmower, just start it, and it will do all itself ;)
Beside the fact it costs a fortune, it`s a cool geek toy ;)
Otoh I like grown grass ;)

one word.....astro terf.......(ok 2 words...whatever) all the joy of grass and none of the work......(unless u are crazy....then you will probly wind up mowing it anyways....its a crazy person thing....)

Targ, OUCH! Sorry about your mower's untimely passing. WHy does
every vehicle you own that has an engine seem to toss its rods all
over creation Well I'm sure you can find another mower at a
thrift shop somewhere, remember that most Briggs and Stratton engines
are the same bolt pattern to the mower's deck, so you can buy a lamer
mower that runs, take its engine and put it on your good mower's deck.
Life's too short for lame mowers

On a more serious note, I hope no one in your family was injured in
any way by the recent hurricane down there. All we hear about here is
New Orleans but I understand the disaster was spread out over many
states, including Alabama where you're from.

My condolences to those who lost something/someone in the disaster.
