Well, the 20 questions with Alan Redhouse has finally been answered. It seems like the future has darkened from dark grey to pure black for a big part of our community. And soon (10:00 AM, San Francisco time) Steve Jobs of Apple will be giving his Keynote Speech. Will Apple abandon the PPC?

What do you think - Will this day go to the history as "the Black Monday"?

If Apple does that...then it's the most significant change in the desktop CPU market for some time. I'd had to see PPC stuff completely disappear but I guess the market speaks....

It can be difficult to second guess apple on something like this. They must be getting a deal somewhere, and with IBM leaving the desktop market there is a big hole in quality desktop systems.

About the Mr. Redhouse interview, I can't see that as "dark and forboding"; it's just missing some of the sugar coating.
