Today the European Council Presidency adopted the software patent
    agreement against council's rules.

    German readers read www.heise.de .

A shame for European democracy and a drawback for the fight against
    software patents.

    I feel angry and sad.

Whenever you're sad just remember the world is 4.543 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.

When electing my parliament I didn't chose those EU council members directly. Additional no (elected) party (at least in Germany) told us before to ignore the democratic procedure within the council.
    But they did yesterday.

It was a slap into the face for democracy.

LOOOL ... I have long lost the feeling that I could actually choose *anything* by voting, except which clowns end up doing what they want with me ...

It'd be just about time. We need a new system. How about trying democracy for a change?

Well, democracy... what's democracy? Money rules this world. Nothing else. M$ has money => M$ rules this world. That's simple. Could anyone change that? :-D

    Bye, MarK.
