I think there is a beauty in simply inserting a CD-ROM, typing "copy cd0: dh0: all" and having a complete and fully working (but lean and bare bone) system set up, with all core things but nothing more. This is a nice Amiga tradition IMHO. Sure, I also believe that other things would be bundled as well (the more the better), but perhaps on an "Extras" disk. I'd like to see TCP/IP, Internet programs, tools and utilities, and lots of other things on that disk. This arrangement would make it possible for all users to set up a system just the way he/she wants it, in the true Amiga/MorphOS spirit, without being forced on to things they don't need or want which only will end up bloating the system.
MorphOS is Amiga
done right! MorphOS NG will be AROS
done right!
