Paying for MorphOS is a stop-gap solution:

1. At $50 doesn't look like it would pay off past debts let alone sustain salary.

2. As soon as a paid version appears, there will be a pirated version thereby limiting revenue.

3. As soon as a paid version appears, there will be the malcontents who whine about it, bug fixes for old versions etc.

4. It has been my impression that MorphOS guys feel that the costs of support probably outweigh the potential revenue that could be generated.
