Some people have wondered why i have been off the forums for a while so i will tell a little story.......at my apartment i have yahoo SBC highspeed internet (if u could call it that). i signed no time restrained agreement it was a pay as you go thing.........so i call to tell SBC that i need to cancel their srevice and i tell them a date i need it done (may 24th) they say that fine and no problem......i woke up the next morning woth no internet......so I call SBC and ask them why my internet is turned off and they say they make a computer mistake and shut it off early........so I told them to turn it back on and they said they couldnt due to the nature of the problem (sounds like they were jsut lazy to me, jerks) ansyways.......so they said as a way to compinsate they will wave the 200$ early termination fee for violationg my 1 year contract....1 year contract!?!?! there was no 1 year ocntract and i read them all my paper work and they still insisted ther was (nother computer glitch on there part) so after arguing for a while and being treated like $hit from SBC i gave up......they treated me lke i was retarted and had no idea what i was doing or anything....not a good way to get business.......and their interent was slow and inconsistant....so i recomend to anyone thinking baout swiching to them to not and swich to some other serviece provider....

That stinks man. Unfortunately, we all have stories like this.

I've got a whopper of a Sony PS2 tale that has me nearly convinced to avoid all Sony products in the future... Then there is a paging service I used to use. The paging company sold itself to another company, who decided to double charge me--too bad I was paying a year at a time!
