I just read about OpenBSD not being supported any more. I read Dale's story, and it seems quite sad the treat he received.

What's wrong with bPlan and Genesi?

The Guardian would not sell so they decided that OpenBSD was not worth?

If there was something wrong, they could have spoken honestly...

Read everything and promise you will comment again.

Normally, we would suggest that since you are in Japan you were in another world, but with gary_c there too... :-?

    Many things coming soon....;-)

Well, I read all the posts in that forum and the original ones. Gracias!

I just ended up with a kindda headache.

Although both parties may have their own part of the truth, I think I understand better Genesi's side. These are some points I understood:

    1) Genesi gives good reasons while arguing with good vocabulary. There are more offensive messages from the other side.
    2) It seems no good idea to get into trouble with Marvell, after all the hard times to change from Articia, just because some weirdo computer geek.
    3) In most forums I read, most of the posts criticize in bad manners whatever the thing, not only computer-related forums. Those people usually have a lot of free time, post anonimously and don't speak proper english (I mean, speaking neatly and clearly).
    4) I've been running MorphOS in my pegasos 2 for weeks without any reboot. The dnetc client is doing its work ;-) And Gentoo and MOL run smoothly. Of course it would be desirable more support, like the missing features in MorphOS that you have to get from miscellaneous Amiga software and stuff, or faster solving of bugs such as the 256M limit in the linux kernel. But M$ has more millions and release updates once a month that only make my laptop slower and introduces incompatibilities.

I think I will just forget about OpenBSD. I would just like to have more free time to develop for MorphOS, but so far the only thing I can do is show how smooth it works to my japanese friends ;-)

Well, I also did my part in adding my comments after reading all that!

    Keep innovating! :-)
