ok MythTV (an incredible program) is capable of recording tv shows, watching your favoite shows, playing your music collection, and much more.
this sftware could also be used in the "pegasos game console" to do all the tv needs of the system.

Isaac Richards, the code for MythTV, is out of a job. SO Genesi could could hire him to port it and maintain it for morhos and make it wor on the game console.

well tell me what you think, i lwould LOVE MythTV, tell me what you guys think, do you want it?

yeah, this looks like a very cool idea indeed!

I don't know if genesi has enough money to hire him to port this to MOS, but maybe we could set up the same thing as what AROS does. The have a
"TeamAROS bounty" setup. people and companies donate money. each project has a set price that is given to the programmer.

Thats a nice looking piece of software.
If it functions as well as it looks,
    it would be great.
I like interfaces that are easy and quick
to use. Any complicated settings should be
hidden but accessible. I suppose a network game
interface and DVD burning could be added to
that to make it a complete entertainment package.

it would be perfect for the pegasos game console as well as the pegasos desktop system. :-)

it wouldn't be a teribly dificult port if its into to hard to convert to QT code into MUI code....but i have no idea how much work that would entail....
