    Nice,

After I finish My ever evolving Review, I intend
to get Linux running, unfortunately I don't have
High-speed internet access, which makes getting
    an ISO very difficult :-(

    Good Work!!

    Hi Felix

    Nice screenshot :P

I run OSX Jaguar on my Peg2g4 as well.

I have some questions for you if you dont mind:

    1. What is Limewire? and how is it configured?

2 Do you have USB printers/devices working? I cant get them recognized in MOL. Please explain

    3. I see the Q3 demo installed- do you have DRI (3d) working in Linux on Peg2? If so what gfx card and how is it setup?

    4. The "Fileshare" dir what is it and how is it setup?

    Please be verbose ;)

This is valuable info for the community and is much appreciated.

    1. It's a fileshare app, one of many that actualy work with the network setup of mol. Checkout www.zeropaid.com (Does your FTP work?)

    2. I intent to get my USB (Freecom) cdwriter to work with it.. (soon..)

    3. No i wish.. No HW3D supported under linux, specially not within MOL. But the cool thing is, OpenGL does work, but with software emulated, very very very very very slow, you can download the payback demo for mac, then try the difference with OpenGL and Normal view.

    4. It's just a drawer i created, where i put all kind of fileshare apps, from zeropaid.com, even mldonkey is in there :)

No problemo, hasta la pasta baby ..

    :)

Radeon 9100 works just fine under Gentoo. I've tried it with numerous 3D games. The latest xfree-drm drivers has become much more stable as well (past versions could hang after a couple of hours use).
If you have a Radeon 9100 try xfree-4.3.99.902-r2 along with xfree-drm-4.3.0-r7. Of course, you will still not get any hw-3D in MOL since there is no OpenGL proxy for it.
