ok i think that the Pegasos/MorphOS should be presented on TechTV. TechTV has thousands of viewers and it would be a great promotional opertunity not to mention we get to show the would what we think is so dang cool. what do you guys think?

I say go for it. Advertising couldn't hurt the Peg market. If it moves like C= did and let word of mouth be the only advertising it will die like C=.

as i said on IRC, I suggested TechTV months ago. it's a great idea. we have to organize and plan this thing right, however.

remember, once you are out in public, you have to be careful how you present yourself. you have to have the right spokesperson. someone who will not be a big loudmouth nerd that will turn people off. for example.
(I'm NOT thinking of anyone in particular, here. I watch TechTV and sometimes I see people on that seem just wrong! very wrong!).

someone suggested BBRV. well, with all due respect, that's not a good idea. at the moment, they are the focus of trolls and other negative persons and we don't need ANY bad vibes.

we need "new" faces not connected in any way to weirdos wanting to fling mud. the public view of MOS should be a cool system, a fun system and a happy bunch of users.

As i suggested, there should be one main spokesperson and several others who "specialize" in specific areas of expertise. sort of like a band that will have solos now and again.

we have to think of this as being able to make repeated visits to TechTV. showing more new, cool stuff with each appearance.

rinse, repeat.

Well IMHO I think Targhan would make an EXCELLENT public
spokesperson for Genesi - I thought he represented
the company very well at AmiWest last year. He
knows what he's talking about, yet at the same time,
is approachable and down to earth...that's
a good combination, IMO.

targhan or kermit is my choice
