    Wow this release is awesome!!!
    Thank you MorphOS Team!!!

The Change-log is longer then the sequenced Genome of a Human ;-)

And here is my first question about the new GPUs that are supported.
Are R600 and R700, Evergreen and Northern Islands now fully 3D accelerated?

Well release notes for Radeon and TinyGL don't mention 3D support for these, that should give you the answer.

For the moment a x1950 is best option for anything 3D, and it can even handle 2 screens with 2560x1440 pixels at over 50Hz.
You can even get 3440x1440 or 4k working if your monitor syncs down to 40Hz.

Ok but what does that mean in Devs/Monitors/Radeon "Added reporting support for 3D rendering on Evergreen and Northern Islands"?

    I do run a Radeon 4550 PCI-Express in my G5 Quad in 3440x1440 in 60Hz would never use a Screenmode with 40Hz.

O.k. missed that bit in the release notes and since the Mirari is the only working PCIe system I have at the moment I can't really test. For me it sounds like it will now tell you that it can't do 3D *shrug*

I might test later on how far I could push the x1950 on the 3440x1440 screen if that is of any interest, but 60Hz it won't be (maybe with an actual DualLink->HDMI converter).
