    Correction:
The T2080 Motherboard NXP-Prozessors Solution from Tyche MIGHT be the better way for some sometime in the future.
Sofar we've seen 10 years of big speeches, e-begging and failure from the PPC-laptop guys.

But let's say best case scenario and they do get something going this time around, what would we get? (in 2027 that is...)
Something that is (well might be) marginal faster than Mirari at over 1000€.

Sure Altivec and higher clock would be nice, but my real world experience is that a 2.5GHz PCIe G5 barely beats the Mirari and even falls behind in some tasks.
All (most) of the things that Altivec does should and could be offloaded to the GPU anyways.

And here we are where that Tyche board is not only an unknown on availability and price but also on actual performance.
Mirari seems to have done a pretty good job on getting the most out of RAM and I/O, areas where pretty much all previous "NG" HW has failed. Will Tyche be good on those? Hard unknown.

Just to be clear, if there is a T2081 Mirari or T2080 Tyche available at a reasonable price I will again raise my finger, but until then I got what is pretty much the 1st sensible/good NG HW since the Pegasos2.
