We would still be running single core 31bit wrong-endian (cos thats just what it is for modern web).

Or (just as insane, maybe even more) would a PPC64LE QBox be more useful? G5s should be able to run that, no idea about X5000/Mirari. G4 and below would be out anyways.

Or maybe the "solution" is to support recent GFX cards and offload most of the heavy lifting there.


All 3 options are beyond what could be expected from the team in a reasonable timeframe, but if we choose a pipedream we should make sure it's the one with the most shrooms in it.
