I used that many years ago. It was working. I can read and write CD/DVD on it. Is it not working for you?

I want to use it for as many things that I can. RISC-V is to oexotic, I think. ARM is too various. PowerPC is expensive but how often do I buy a new computer? I would buy a new one for 3000 EUR or so if it is much faster than X5000 and can use the many cores and RAM.

Please not, the X1000 is not sold anymore and the A1222 is so expensive. Then better save money for a X5000.
