@ matt3 - Are you looking in the font folder with the "All Files" or "Thumbnails" options active - if you are in browser mode (Ambient Settings> Window> Browser Mode 'ticked'), so you can see all the files in the folder, including the .font and .otag files, as they don't have an icon so you can't see them otherwise.
