If you trace around the edge of the PowerBook screen backpanel then it is quite easy to get a precise outline of the Apple logo, which I believe is the same size for most systems along with the "leaf" shape above the Apple. If you then colour the Apple shape with a faint linear or radial "blued" fill and insert a green fill where the leaf shape is that should work well.
Is that more feasible, for you?
