Depending on which platform you use, Netflix' DRM system mandates the presence of various hardware features. For instance, if you plan to watch an UltraHD / 4K stream on a Windows PC, you need to use the Microsoft Edge browser and at least a 7th generation Intel processor. If you own a 32-core Ryzen chip and you like Firefox, you are out of luck.
Apart from required hardware features, DRM and a shared memory operating system do not seem to mix well on a conceptional level, do they?
