    There are no plans to support it.

    You might want to try out MacOS and Linux on your Powerbook first before you commit to a quad-core G5, which does consume a lot of power even when it is powered off.

    In my opinion, the best Mac to run MorphOS right now is probably a Powerbook with 128MB of graphics memory. It can be used as both a mobile and desktop machine (just close the lid after pressing the power on button and the internal display remains switched off). The performance is comparable to a lower-end PowerMac G5 but the fan noise and power consumption are notably better.
