I have a problem to intsall 3.10 on my G5 from cd.
After choosing the language and Keyboard Layout, io get this error requester:
    MorphOS boot.img version to old.
In order to boot from the MorphOS CD, type
    boot /pci/cd
    to the OpenFirmware prompt.
    But that doesn`t work.

I get the same thing. How did you resolve this? I already have MorphOS 3.9 installed on my Mac Mini, but I get the same error when booting from the CD by pressing the "C" key on startup.

Hi. The following has worked for me. Start from the firmware and write:

    boot cd:,\\boot.img

Yeah, the problem with the C key is, that there is no feedback.

You may have pressed it to early or to late. In both cases it takes the boot.img from your boot partition and not from the CD itself, which causes the error.

Using the ALT key gives a proper feedback, as the menu appears. Selecting the CD there is guaranteed to use the right boot.img
