I remember Workbench 1.3, and I didn't really like it but then I soon migrated to OS2.x and OS3.x and higher and was smitten - in a cyborg sort of way.
I have Windows XP, and rarely use it, but .... of all the Windows versions I have tried I have to say that XP was the best Windows format IMHO, and anything since then has been less useful, and generally a step backwards IMHO.
Glad to hear you'd no objections to my overall point.
