Well, That's always 0,2 GHz more than the next fastest one. And if you plan to use it in dual/triple boot the extra cores really count.
Speaking about "1,8 to 2,3 GHz with air cooling" you mean the AGP Dual Processor ones, or PCIe Dual Core ones? Dual Core isn't clocked lower than 2,0 GHz anyway...
