Wow, the only ones I know of using that version is usually PowerUP users, since 1.4.5 is the latest version publicly released for that platform AFAIK...

You will probably find Ambient quite mature today, and the only reason I see to use Dopus Magellan (and some people do) is if you really need working a lot with batches of files in various ways for some reason. For "normal" use (everything is relative though) I'd say Ambient is more than enough as it is today.
