    Hi !

    I´ve made my PowerBookG4 multi-boot using
    Mac OS X, Lubuntu & MorpOS on a 320GB harddisk.

    I have a 100GB Partition witch i want to use for file-exchange between the three systems.
    currently that partition is formatted as MAC Journaled but when i want
    to save files on it (out from MorphOS) i get a "Disk is Writeprotected #214 error" erverytime.

    my question:

    what file format (except fat32 because of its 4gb filesizelimit) can i use to
    share files between the 3 OSs ?

    greetings

    Are you sure that works ?

    When i first install Mac OS X 10.5 and format the 100GB Ext2 partition using MacFUSE & Ext2FS i can
    write to this partition under Mac OS X but not under Ubuntu and MorphOS!

    When i create the partition in Lubuntu i can write to this partition under Lubuntu but not in Mac OS X & MorphOS.

    ?!?

    @drwhy,

    When there was only the pegasos runing morphos a french user did the same 9 years ago. Here is his tutorial on obligement, http://obligement.free.fr/articles/pegasos_partitioncommune.php . Click in the left upper case 'translate' on a flag to get the translation by google. But nowadays are these manipulations still correct or not ? I can not answer because I do not have ubuntu or debian installed on my powermac g4.

    exfat works well on AmigaOS/MorphOS/Ubuntu. Should work on Mac OS too, but I cannot test that.

    For write-support under MorphOS it needs to be compiled from source but that is very easy with the SDK installed.
