The German "Association for the Preservation of Classic Computers" organizes since 15 years the "Classic Computing", until now only in Germany, now for the first time in France, close to the German and Luxemburgian border.
The Classic Computing 2015 takes place from 03.10. - 04.10.2015 at the "Salle Jean Burger" in F-57100 Thionville in France.
This year's motto of the CC is the meting with French friends of retro-computing.
Beside the usual broad spectrum of computersystems (with many C64 and Amiga's, which also in France have many fans), we will also see many computers populair in France like Amstrad CPC, MSX, Thomson and more.
Thionville is in Lorraine, very close to Germany and Luxemburg. The third of October (German bank holiday) is this year on a Saturday. In France and Luxemburg all shops are open, of course.
At 02.10. there will be a "warmup-event", in the afternoon local schools will visit us. For interested participants it is possible to build up your hardware at Friday morning, the Classic Computing will practically be a 3-day-event.
A registration-form and further information you'll find at our website, http://www.classic-computing.org.
Further information will follow.
Let's come to the CC2015, we hope we will meet there.
