If this is too off topic since not MorphOS and probably not Amiga related, feel free to delete. I just know there is a lot of knowledge here.

It seems to be a 16Kx1 but is in a 18 pin package. I cannot for the life of me find a pinout and specific information, let alone a datasheet.

I found this based on the bottom number.

It looks like it, but the bottom number seems to not jive with the top number. I am confused.

I'm finding some info now. It appears to be two 4116 in one package. A pinout would still be nice.

Have no idea where you find that bugger, but I would make a wild guess that it is no way a "standard" chip but something costum made for a specific project.

Maybe the IC orginally planned for the DIL-socket became unavailble during production and someone came up with this to avoid changing the PCB.

Or maybe manufactoring didn't allow for the 2 square chips to be mounted directly onto the PCB.
