i have talked to the leader of the JNode team and he said he would be willing ot do a port to the pegasos platform. JNode is an operating system written in entirely java and is, in my opinion, very cool. they are at realease 0.14 and have a ways to go, but development seems to be going smoothly with frequent updates. so who wants to see JNode on the Pegasos? go to http://jnode.sourceforge.net
and have a look. i think we should get them a pegasos another operating system would be great. and this one is very nice.

I'm not that fond of Java, and the screenshots don't look too promising either, but the idea sounds very interesting. Being platform independent (I presume) it can have a great potential if carefully managed.

Wouldn't want to sound negative, but what really is the objective of this OS? That a new OS can be done with Java? Hardly worth a wasting a Pegasos which could be used for so much more interesting and useful purpose/developer.
Especially as the OS is so in its early stages.
