    Boot.img (Kernel) will be load and boot from your decided partition - but not MorphOS itself......
    You have to tell from where the Kernel has to load the "rest" of MorphOS:

    boot /pci/disk/@1,0:0 boot.img bootdevice=dhx

    If you don't specify the bootdevice, the Kernel tries to load from default (specified in OF-env-variable "boot-device".....)

    I think you're mixing things up. The OpenFirmware env variable "boot-device" specifies from where OpenFirmware loads the boot.img (or the Forth script or whatever is specified in "boot-file"). The partition MorphOS is booted from by the boot.img is specified by boot flag and boot priority to be set from within MorphOS (and can be overwritten by boot.img "bootdevice" parameter, if required).

    @Vanhapolle,

    Please refer to this quickstart guide for setting up correctly your pegasos 2 startup, www.morphos-news.de/beta2help/qstart_en.html. Look at section 6 'Booting from your Hard Drive' and 7 'Auto-booting' your pegasos 2.
