I got a costum built Ducky Zero keyboard from Loriagno Pagni, which looks and feels great! However, it doesn't work in MorphOS. Nothing happens at all and Posseidon says: Interupt pipe failed: packet overflow (7)!

The top 4 keys on the right does work for some reason when I use MMKeyboard. And it does work somewhat with AROS (backspace doesn't "flow", so you have to press it every time you want to delete a letter). According to Loriagni, 2 different AmigaOS 4 users have got their keyboard and it works for them. And it works perfectly on Windows.

I've already reported this problem, but I was hoping for some feedback here as well. Because I would be really sad if this problem was unsolvable.

You mean the multimedia keys (Volume up/down etc.)?

I do have the same and it does work on AmigaOS 4 and Win/Linux.

Sadly, can`t test it on MOS (until SAM460ex support arrives)
and I do hope prob will be solved.

However, it just multimedia keys * one can live with out them.

Away from that, best keyboard I have ever used. Durable, heavy, got the sound, depth and feel.
And thanks to Loriano Amiga/MOS keys :-)

Well, here it's actually the oposite: the multimedia keys work but the rest doesn't. So I can't use it with MorphOS :-(

All the rest don`t work meaning numpad, certain keys or keyboard completely unsupported? Last would be sad, since I do intend to use it, as well as X500 Evo case (which has got the MOS keys now too and is waiting for SAM460ex support) is based on same.

Slightly off topic, thanks for your blog, left few comments, will keep an eye on it.

The last one I'm afraid. The keyboard is useless with MorphOS.

Do these keyboards offer N-key rollover? If yes, then I'd look into if there's a way to disable it. It's incompatible with almost everything besides Wintel PCs.

Cool! How do I check that?

[Edit] Found it. According to the manufacturers page in my original post it does.

Then probably all you have to do is switching to 6KRO with [Fn]+[F12].

No clue about that, but the F12 key shouldn't be lit:

Well, no keys are lit in MorphOS. But one is in Window but not F12. I have to take a closer look after work.

Hmm... maybe you really have to turn this feature off in Windows, I'm not sure. I just read somewhere that the NKRO feature is incompatible with Macs, and has issues with Linux too.

It does make a lot of sense in that case. I wonder how you do turn it off permanently. I have to look it up.

It works now actually. I'm currently writing on my Ducky in MorphOS :-D

It seems that this is what you need to do (one of two)

Either 1, you have to plug in your ducky in Windows and then turn NKRO on once and then off.
Or 2, you have to do it in MorphOS.

I havn't tested a cold boot yet, but after a warm boot it still works.

    Ladies and gentlemen, a breakthrough!! :-D :-D :-D

Well, I spoke a little too soon.

It turns out that this worked because I had plugged the keyboard in the same hub where I also had my standard keyboard plugged in as well. They shared the settings, which made the keyboard work.

But when I don't have the old keyboard plugged in and just the ducky, I need to activate it by pressing ALT + F12 when I boot. So it's when I activate NKRO most things works. Some keys are missing though (Right ALT, Arrow keys, key next to Right Shift etc).

[Edit] Yes, by plugging in the old keyboard got me most of my lost keys back. Except Right ALT that still doesn't work.

Just a small update: Loriano has offered a keyboard at a bit reduced price for developers (to make things right). If that doesn`t work (e.g. they are not interested) I am even willing to send mine for some time with promise to have it returned safe and sound :-) Its too good keyboard not to be supported, a rare quality.

And X500(Evo) is also greatest A500 recreation so far.

Here is my review of the keyboard alone

"Loriano made it possible, also featured in his mighty X500 Amiga recreations. Its a really reliable old school clickety click keyboard made to least long. It has the feeling, the sound, and now Amiga keys. Least and not least, the keyboard is perfect not only for people that do type a lot (like myself as tied to social sciencies which are ... a lot of words :-) but also for gaming as it has multiple key detection - a feature needed for some games. And in the end as a joke and proof of quality is quite heavy, heavy enough you can use it as a weapon if someone tries to bother your work or gaming. Mind that this is not a downside but a proof of quality of components, unlike some plastic cheap things made even by credible brends nowadays. For those looking for quality - IT EXISTS. And has Amiga spirit again.
Closest things to it in my rememberenace were old school IBM and Cherry keyboards vox

Without any additional work of Loriano 70-80 GBPs. With additional work about hundred plus add the P&P from UK for quite heavy keyboard. Not a cheap thing.

    http://gtmooya.blogspot.com/2014/04/x500-plus-mechanical-keyboard.html

Note: additional work in my case where both local customization (Serbian) keys that don`t exist in Ducky Zero offer + Amiga keys.

    http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/ZERO_DK2108.html
    e.g. 92$ in US
    http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=262

Defenetely expensive for keyboard, but again really best keyboard to have (in original Duckys work and Lorianos addition)

That also explains the difference in price between base x500 models and top x500 evo offer https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/505470364/the-x500-plus-computer-case
