Apparently, the part about AirPort Extreme support coming with MorphOS 3.2 was a misinformation (by MorphOS IRC channel regulars?). That's what MorphOS Team member geit said two weeks ago:

Hi, i have just bought one from Amazon and it is a very nice one. It seems to be mandatory to strictly follow step 4 in order to save the configuration. Thank you!

I can recommend another very small and cheap 150M router/ap/client: http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/?categoryid=241&model=TL-WR702N
It usually goes for about 15-20 EUR at regular shops (e.g. amazon) and works reliably with my Powerbook both with MorphOS and OS X. On MorphOS it takes about 40s-60s after boot up til Network is available though, while on OS X it's instantly available after boot up. The antenna is pretty good. With the TP link router I get a far more reliable signal than with the inbuild Airport (at the roof terrace with teh Airport there's usually no signal, while the TP link works good). Requires _one_ usb port for power, but comes also with a ac/usb brick (which is always handy to have and included in that ridiculous low price).

It isn't, as far as I know.

No usb wifi sticks are supported by MorphOS yet. The trick to use WLAN now is to use tiny wifi routers/APs/_clients_ that are powered by usb and provide connectivity by ethernet. No driver needed as the router does all the WLAN things and the computer just sees the local ethernet.
In future we may see WLAN support inbuild in MorphOS, but it's not there yet. The workaround with those tiny routers is okay. It's not as small as a WLAN usb stick and adds a little cabling, but worls good and is very versatile.

Ordered the BL-MP01 for 19$ and free shipping to Sweden at dealextreme.com

Thats cheap to fix a wifi for your Mac Mini with MorphOS.

Thanks for explaining and helping out ;-)

Ok I got the delivery of the minirouter BL-MP01 now. Seems it took just abot 20 days to get it.

There is 3 different modes to select on it via a slide button on the side. Not sure which mode to choose. Anyone knows?

Would be easier to answer if you quoted those options. I guess the switch is for the device behaviour. If so, chose "client".

I received mine too, but i can't get it to work. Whatever i try it won't accept my wpa2 key, i tried setting it up on the powerbook and also on a windows machine and a mac and it's always the same, once i enter the key it goes back asking it again. I have no trouble with any of the 10+ devices connect to my wifi including computers, telephones, tablet, blu ray player, htpc, etc but this mini router won't connect for some unknown reason. The very poorly translated from the chinese interface doesn't help much...

EDIT : i finally managed to connect using WPS, weird.
First impression on the device is that the wireless range is not that good, i have much more coverage from my other wifi devices, but well it's still very handy, at least i can move the powerbook off my desk now : )

@zylesia - thanks. Client it is. Will let you know how it works when I get there.

Right now I am moving forward on partitioning the mac mini as I want to keep the OSX on a small partition. I understood I need to create the partition by running Ubuntu on a CD, then run the MorhpOS install and manually partition it for the MorphOS disk format. Ay one care to confirm this?

If your OSX is 10.5 you don't need any Linux for setting up or resizing partitions. If it's a lower version you do need it indeed for shrinking the OSX partition if wanted. http://library.morph.zone/Dual-boot_MorphOS_and_MacOS_X_on_a_Mac_Mini_G4 has all the info.

...got my card today and it's a BL_LW06, same as the auction said. Dang it, wasted money I did not have. Bah!

Can anyone help me with what I need to do to get the LB-LINK working on the MacMini. I tried to enter the url IP address in OWB but that did not work. I think I need to set this up elsewhere in MorphOS.

What's the IP address of your Mac mini? What's the IP address of your WLAN Ethernet bridge?

Type 'ifconfig' into a shell. The default IP address of your WLAN Ethernet bridge should be printed on the device or in the manual.

the shell returns eth0 broadcast 192.168.16.255

The WLAN ethernet bridge will be more difficult to find out - I am at the office. Only the server names are glued on the hardware - no IP there.

The default IP address of the WLAN Ethernet bridge is probably a 192.168.0.x one, and I guess your subnet mask is the usual 255.255.255.0. So you either set your Mac mini (temporarily) to a 192.168.0.x address as well or you change your subnet mask (temporarily) to 255.255.0.0. That way you can access the WLAN Ethernet bridge and set its IP address to a 192.168.16.x one or whatever.
This all is assuming that the different subnets is the problem at your end. If it's another problem I guess I'm out of ideas.

Dear Andreas - I am totally new with MorphOS and have no clue how to change the MacMini ip to 192.168.0.x
Not sure even to do it on my PC...

I am very thankful for your help but would need a little advice how that is actually done.

i can connect the Mac Mini without problem on the direct eth cabel here and get access to internet. Can I use this connection to find out needed info?

I am slightly unclear how this really is supposed to work? I thought the minirouter needed to access the wifi used here somehow.

Sorry for acting stupid but theese days you rarly need this knowledge. I don't mind the challenge but don't know how to do it

I think I have located the IP/MASK/GATEW info I need. I have all IP's etc. Now just need to try to make it work. So far unsuccessful. Will keep posting.

"Settings" -> "System" -> "Network" -> "Network Interfaces"

You're probably using DHCP to automatically obtain the IP address for your Mac mini. For the process I described you'd have to set it (temporarily) to static IP in the prefs (see above). After successfully configuring the WLAN Ethernet bridge, you can switch back to DHCP.

    > I am slightly unclear how this really is supposed to work? I thought
    > the minirouter needed to access the wifi used here somehow.

To make the WLAN Ethernet bridge access your WiFi network you need to somehow access the WLAN Ethernet bridge from your Mac mini beforehand to configure it. At least that's what I've understood you're wanting to do. If you don't want to mess with the subnet mask, it's supposed to work like this:

    1. Connect the WLAN Ethernet bridge to your Mac mini via LAN.
    2. Find out the default IP address of the WLAN Ethernet bridge.
    3. Put the Mac mini in the same subnet as the WLAN Ethernet bridge by changing the (static) IP of the Mac mini accordingly.
    4. Start OWB and enter the IP address of the WLAN Ethernet bridge.
    5. Change the (static) IP address of the WLAN Ethernet bridge to match your WiFi network (192.168.16.x).
    6. Change the static IP of the Mac mini to match your WiFi network (192.168.16.x) and save.
    7. Reboot the Mac mini.
    8. Start OWB and enter the new IP address of the WLAN Ethernet bridge.
    9. Make the WLAN Ethernet bridge connect to your WiFi network by entering SSID, PSK etc.
    10. Test the setup by pointing OWB to a website.
    11. Revert the Mac mini to DHCP and save.
    12. Reboot the Mac mini.
    13. Perform a final test by pointing OWB to a website.
