Did I said something funny? Don't think so. Asking for such a details what will be included in next MorphOS version - that's quite funny as we know that Team is no willing to say too much until the new version will arrive.

AFAIK there is only one out of the box Mac and MorphOS (2.8) compatible outthere (made by Sonnet and hard to find).

Is it the Tempo SATA Sonnet PCI ? http://www.sonnettech.com/support/kb/kb.php?cat=343#position_content

Yes, and at least according to analogkid that's what Kronos uses:

No Andi I don't use a Sonnet SATA-card and I don't plan to use one anytime soon.

There is a similar PC card that I bought of ebay for 2.27Euro which after some misunderstandings should arrive here tomorow and for which I might even have found a fitting PPC-flash.

Analogkid has that Sonnet-card (mine only has a Sonnet 2x1.8GHz but thats a different matter).

Seems I misread some things. Sorry for that to you and analogkid and thanks for clarification.

About an office suite program.. yes it's not necessary to be included for the update, but it is necessary for OS. case in point, Android fairly new on the block has atleast two
officesuite pro, and kingsoft office. both running on a 6-800mhz mobile device.......Com'On Man!

the number of morphOS users using MorphOS as their main and ONLY system must be pretty low, and these are the only ones who truly need an office suite. Even if there was an office suite available, it would have to be better than any counterpart on windows, mac or linux for me to consider using it.
It's too much work porting an office suite for such a little potential use among the comunity imho. The future of office software is in the cloud, online office suite, so i'd put priority on making sure morphos users can access and work with them through their browsers.

That would essentially amount to continuing to incorporate new WebKit revisions into new OWB releases, right? I think those solutions should already work with current OWB (Google Docs, MS Office Web Apps and Zoho Writer certainly do, according to reports here on MZ):

I guess that must be why you now say that it's only been confirmed now:
