I started w/ 2.7 on my powermac G4. But, I had a 3k and a 1200 before, and but as of now I'm so caught up in college I have no time to fiddle with it.
    My Macs:
    Powerbook G4 ALU 1.5GHZ 15" 1.5GB OSX.5.8
    Powermac G4 MDD 1.5GHZ OSX.5.8 MOS2.7

Want a part for a Mac? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

Amithlon is amazing, questions and help I can provide.

As soon as MorphOS supported the G4 MacMini, I found a good used one on Craigslist and registered right away. It's been my main computer (along with two Amithon systems -- one nearly ten years old!) ever since. I was REALLY hoping MOS3.0 would support my G4 MacBook I have sitting idle, but I guess I'll have to find a PowerBook instead.

Ebay has a steady stream of PowerBooks that Morph 3.0 has targeted @ $140/S220. Parts are readily available to service these six year old laptops. There is a useful How To guide posted last month. :-)

Glancing round eBay at PowerBook G4s and thinking of coming back to MorphOS after a significant absence.... :-)

What works and what doesn't on the G4 in latest MOS public release (and yes I know there is no Airport Extreme)?

    Should I get Powerbook 5,6 or 5,8?

I presume it's still possible to register and get a key file?

Of course it is. What has changed though during the time you were absent is the price. It went down to 111.11 EUR and hasn't changed since.

I have a PB 5,8 and it's a great machine. Both models suffer from broken by design upper RAM slots though.
